SKINPEN MICRONEEDLING WITH PRP (PLATELET RICH PLASMA)

A SkinPen PRP Facial is a combination of SkinPen Microneedling, followed by the application of PRP (platelet-rich plasma). The PRP is derived from the serum portion of the blood, which contains platelets. Plasma contains molecules and proteins that provide nutrients to the skin’s cells, so it’s a healthy, natural way to improve the effects of aging.

PRP is performed by drawing a small vial of blood from the patient. The blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the growth factors, platelets, and stem cells from the rest of the blood. Once this unique mixture is obtained, the enriched plasma is applied to the desired treatment areas.
