Juvéderm Products

It’s inevitable — as we grow older time begins to take its toll on our appearance. Our faces begin to appear less “plump” than when we were younger, and wrinkles and folds begin to develop on what was previously smooth skin. However, with Juvéderm you no longer have to just sit back and allow wrinkles to appear, or “plumpness” to disappear. Instead, watch your skin become more youthful with each treatment.

Juvéderm, which is a collection of different “dermal fillers,” is an injectable gel treatment. Each product within the Juvéderm collection, consists of a crystal-clear gel made of hyaluronic acid — which is a natural substance in the skin that delivers nutrients, helps the skin retain moisture and softness, and adds volume. Unfortunately, as we get older, our bodies produce less hyaluronic acid, leaving the skin dehydrated, resulting in the appearance of wrinkles and folds in the skin. However, when injected into the targeted area, Juvéderm hydrates the cells in one’s muscles, and skin, and is able to “fill in” these wrinkles and folds, and/or plump an area.

Each product in the Juvéderm collection of fillers adds volume to a different area of the face. Depending upon the product, Juvéderm treatment can lift cheeks, smooth parentheses lines, smooth vertical lip lines or plump the lips.

Juvéderm Ultra Plus  – adds fullness and plumps lips as well as smoothes and corrects moderate to severe parentheses lines.

Juvéderm Vollure –  Softens moderate to severe parentheses lines and wrinkles by adding subtle volume around the nose and mouth area, and is also used in the tear trough area underneath the eyes.

Juvéderm Voluma – adds volume to the cheek and under-eye area to correct age-related volume loss.

Juvéderm Volbella –  adds subtle volume to lips and softens the appearance of vertical lip lines.

In order to receive Juvéderm treatment, all patients must be over the age of 21. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not use dermal fillers. Anyone who has recently used blood thinners or has a bleeding disorder should also avoid dermal fillers.
